People choose to become self-employed for the right or wrong reason. Those that do make the decision for the wrong reason usually fail.
To make the correct decision for the correct reasons after a careful analysis will improve your chances of being successful dramatically.
If you are pushed into self-employment for the wrong reasons you will most likely fail. There are many examples of that.
If you are attracted to explore a self-employment opportunity for the correct reasons and develop your ideas after proper research and planning your chances of success will increase dramatically.

• You have a passion for what you are doing, and you use your skills and strengths to develop your business.
• You have the self-discipline to work on your own and be your own boss.
• You have the attitude to make a success of the business irrespective of the circumstances in the business environment , the economy or your personal problems.
• You are focused on what you are doing to achieve your goals
• You have a network of people and experts to support you that you can use to develop new ideas and be a “sounding board”.
• You have the ability to see the opportunities in the market - you will be able to create a product with value that people will be willing to pay for. You can create value.
• You are able to communicate with people and convince them of the value you can deliver to them.
